As CIO, Eugene is dedicated to driving strategic technology transformation, integrating innovative IT solutions, and enhancing digital presence. He applies his extensive experience to advance the company’s technological capabilities and strategic problem-solving approaches.
Fun fact: Eugene holds a Professional Doctorate of Technology and once solved a critical IT issue using only a paperclip and some chewing gum—proving that resourcefulness and creativity are key to effective problem-solving!
Jamie Saunders
Operations Manager
Jamie oversees the day-to-day operations of Polar Bear which involves optimization of resources, the streamlining of workflows, and the ongoing improvement of operational procedures to realize goals and ultimately to provide the very best value to our clients.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys hiking and swimming with her dogs and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen (her favourite place in her house).
Fun Fact: Jamie is a certified dog and plant mom.

Outside of work, Chris is a true adventurer, you can usually find him somewhere pushing his physical and mental limits.
Sumaiya De’Mar
Legal Manager
With over 8 years in the legal field and 5 years in the digital industry, Sumaiya oversees legal operations at Polar Bear. She focuses on drafting contracts, providing comprehensive legal support, ensuring compliance, and managing risks. Her dedication to improving legal procedures helps drive the organization towards achieving its goals and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Outside of work, Sumaiya is an avid fashion enthusiast who enjoys creating art through various techniques, including fashion and digital design.

Technical Web Lead
With a decade of experience in web development, Ronald is passionate about solving problems and optimizing solutions. He is dedicated to creating efficient, user-friendly digital experiences. He continuously strives for excellence, ensuring that every project delivers exceptional value.

Fiona Cameron-Brown
Senior Writer & Researcher
With a passion for, and a modicum of writing skill, and after a long career in consulting syndicated research, Fiona writes for Polar Bear and their clients. She helps to mentor novice writers. She is happy to step in and help out – wherever needed – especially when she learns more about the digital space.
In her “other” life, she’s The Cats’ Mother and makes marmalade (among other things) which she sells at the McGregor market.
Dinah-lee Visser
Digital Innovation Support
Dinah is a member of our Digital Innovation, SEO, Social Media and Writing teams. With experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Writing, she is a semi-novice in the SEO industry. However, she has been captivated by the world of SEO and now considers herself a “SERP-aholic”.
If she’s not at work, Dinah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing at the beach, or engaging in various creative pursuits such as baking, photography, poetry, songwriting, singing, and performing at shows. By channelling her creativity into problem-solving, she brings a unique voice and perspective to the Polar Bear team.
Fun fact: Despite being a social butterfly, she firmly believes that “naps save lives.”
